Wyoming High School Basketball - Encampment trounces Rock River
January 27, 2024: Encampment, WY 82325 The Encampment Tigers (Encampment, WY) basketball crushed the visiting Rock River Longhorns (Rock River, WY), 74-16 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Tigers (9-5) will now prepare for their test against Little Snake River (Baggs, WY). The Rattlers go into the 1A Southwest test with a 6-7 record. In their last test, Little Snake River was trounced by Cokeville (Cokeville, WY), 54-33, in a league test.
The Longhorns now own a 0-10 record. They play next when they travel to East for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 30. Rock River will encounter a Thunderbirds squad coming off a 65-58 league loss to Central (Cheyenne, WY). The Thunderbirds record now stands at 13-4.
