Missouri High School Basketball - Norwood nips Liberty
January 27, 2024: Mountain View, MO 65548 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Norwood Pirates (Norwood, MO) and the host Liberty Eagles (Mountain View, MO), saw Norwood's basketball squad hold off Liberty by a tally of 66-59.
With the victory, Norwood improves its record to 14-6 on the campaign. The Pirates travel to Fordland (Fordland, MO) to play the Eagles in a Summit challenge on Tuesday, January 30. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 6-10. Fordland won 51-49 in their recent non-league challenge against Koshkonong (Koshkonong, MO)
Next up, the Eagles play the Marshfield Bluejays (Marshfield, MO) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, January 29. Liberty will attempt to improve on its 8-5 season record. The Bluejays come into the challenge with a 12-8 record after their 64-50 non-league win over Willow Springs (Willow Springs, MO).
