Ohio High School Basketball - Walnut Ridge tipped by Lincoln

The Lincoln Golden Lions basketball team scored 66 points and held the host Walnut Ridge Scots to 60 in the Golden Lions non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Golden Lions now sport a 12-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Westerville Central for a Ohio Capital - Ohio contest on Friday, February 2. Lincoln will meet a Warhawks team coming off a 60-54 league loss to Grove City (Grove City, OH). The Warhawks record now stands at 10-7.

The Scots (10-6) will now prepare for their contest against Marion-Franklin (Columbus, OH). The Red Devils enter the Columbus City - South contest with a 8-9 record. In their last contest, Marion-Franklin was nudged by Granville (Granville, OH), 79-60, in a non-league contest.
