January 27, 2024: Waunakee, WI 53597 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Waunakee Warriors (Waunakee, WI) and the visiting Oconomowoc Raccoons (Oconomowoc, WI), saw Waunakee's basketball squad overcome Oconomowoc by a tally of 81-71.
With the victory, Waunakee improves its record to 12-5 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Monona Grove (Monona, WI) to confront the Silver Eagles in a Badger - Large challenge on Thursday, February 1. The Silver Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 10-6. Monona Grove won 75-73 in their recent non-league challenge against Menomonie (Menomonie, WI)
Next up, the Raccoons confront the Arrowhead Warhawks (Hartland, WI) in a Classic Eight challenge, on Tuesday, January 30. Oconomowoc will attempt to improve on its 10-6 season record. The Warhawks come into the challenge with a 14-1 record after their 70-58 non-league win over Middleton (Middleton, WI).
