Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Strath Haven topped by Penncrest
January 27, 2024: Media, PA 19063 The Penncrest Lions basketball team scored 56 points and restricted the visiting Strath Haven Panthers to 41 in the Lions league victory on Saturday.
The Lions now sport a 13-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Harriton for a Central contest on Tuesday, January 30. Penncrest will battle a Rams team coming off a 62-57 league loss to Radnor (Radnor, PA). The Rams record now stands at 11-7.
The Panthers (1-17) will now prepare for their contest against Garnet Valley (Glen Mills, PA). The Jaguars come into the Central contest with a 10-7 record. In their last contest, Garnet Valley dropped by Lower Merion (Ardmore, PA), 62-58, in a league contest.
