Fans at Saturday's league challenge between the Box Elder Bears (Box Elder, MT) and the host Hays-Lodge Pole Thunder Birds (Hays, MT), saw Box Elder's basketball squad hold off Hays-Lodge Pole by a tally of 42-37.

With the victory, Box Elder improves its record to 6-8 on the campaign. The Bears travel to Turner (Turner, MT) to confront the Tornadoes in a C District 9 challenge on Friday, February 2.
