Connecticut High School Basketball - North Branford overwhelms Westbrook
January 27, 2024: Westbrook, CT 06498 Fans at Saturday's league challenge between the North Branford Thunderbirds (North Branford, CT) and the host Westbrook Knights (Westbrook, CT), saw North Branford's basketball squad wallop Westbrook by a tally of 52-25.
With the victory, North Branford improves its record to 6-5 on the campaign. The Thunderbirds host Bacon Academy (Colchester, CT) to play the Bobcats in a non-league challenge on Monday, January 29. The Bobcats come into the challenge with a record of 10-5. Bacon Academy won 46-42 in their recent non-league challenge against Windham (Willimantic, CT)
Next up, the Knights play the Coginchaug Regional Blue Devils (Durham, CT) in a Shoreline challenge, on Tuesday, January 30. Westbrook will attempt to improve on its 2-11 season record. The Blue Devils come into the challenge with a 6-8 record after their 61-45 non-league loss to Canton (Canton, CT).
