New Hampshire High School Basketball - White Mountains holds off Winnisquam
January 27, 2024: Tilton, NH 03276 Fans at Saturday's league challenge between the White Mountains Spartans (Whitefield, NH) and the host Winnisquam Bears (Tilton, NH), saw White Mountains's basketball squad hold off Winnisquam by a tally of 51-46.
With the victory, White Mountains improves its record to 9-6 on the campaign. The Spartans host Groveton (Groveton, NH) to confront the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 30. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 14-2. Groveton won 30-28 in their recent league challenge against Woodsville (Woodsville, NH)
Next up, the Bears confront the Kearsarge Cougars (North Sutton, NH) in a Division III challenge, on Monday, January 29. Winnisquam will attempt to improve on its 10-2 season record.
