Elko Indians (Elko, NV) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Lowry Buckaroos (Winnemucca, NV), 38-25 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Elko upgrades its record to 14-1 on the season. The Indians host Fernley (Fernley, NV) to play the Vaqueros in a bout on Friday, February 2. The Vaqueros go into the bout with a record of 10-3.

Next up, the Buckaroos play the Fernley Vaqueros (Fernley, NV) in a bout, on Saturday, February 10. Lowry will attempt to upgrade on its 3-6 season record.
