Washington High School Basketball - Anacortes overwhelms Blaine
January 27, 2024: Anacortes, WA 98221 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Anacortes Seahawks (Anacortes, WA) and the visiting Blaine Borderites (Blaine, WA), saw Anacortes's basketball squad wallop Blaine by a tally of 65-35.
With the victory, Anacortes improves its record to 12-2 on the campaign. The Seahawks travel to Nooksack Valley (Everson, WA) to confront the Pioneers in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, January 31. The Pioneers come into the challenge with a record of 10-6. Nooksack Valley won 48-42 in their recent non-league challenge against King's (Seattle, WA)
Next up, the Borderites confront the Sehome Mariners (Bellingham, WA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 30. Blaine will attempt to improve on its 5-10 season record. The Mariners come into the challenge with a 7-12 record after their 74-35 non-league loss to Lynden (Lynden, WA).
