Washington High School Basketball - Archbishop Murphy ripped by Anacortes
December 21, 2023: Everett, WA 98208 The Anacortes Seahawks basketball team scored 66 points and held the host Archbishop Murphy Wildcats to 38 in the Seahawks non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Seahawks now sport a 6-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lakewood for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 2. Anacortes will meet a Cougars team coming off a 62-49 non-league loss to Mount Vernon (Mount Vernon, WA). The Cougars record now stands at 3-4.
The Wildcats (3-6) will now prepare for their contest against Highline (Burien, WA). The Pirates enter the non-league contest with a 4-4 record. In their last contest, Highline was routed by Decatur (Federal Way, WA), 45-29, in a non-league contest.
