Washington High School Basketball - Stanwood can't hold off Anacortes
December 18, 2023: Anacortes, WA 98221 The Anacortes Seahawks basketball team scored 59 points and restricted the visiting Stanwood Spartans to 56 in the Seahawks non-league victory on Monday.
The Seahawks now sport a 4-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Oak Harbor for a non-league contest on Wednesday, December 20. Anacortes will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 59-44 non-league win over Mt. Baker (Deming, WA). The Wildcats record now stands at 4-3.
The Spartans (4-3) will now prepare for their contest against Lynnwood (Bothell, WA). The Royals come into the non-league contest with a 0-7 record. In their last contest, Lynnwood was nudged by Lake Washington (Kirkland, WA), 76-17, in a non-league contest.
