The Robbinsville Black Knights bounced the host Copper Basin Cougars basketball squad by a final score of 68-30 in Monday's non-league outing.

Next, the Black Knights clash with the Murphy Bulldogs (Murphy, NC) in a 1A Smoky Mountain outing, on Tuesday, January 28. Robbinsville will attempt to upgrade on its 10-5 season record. The Bulldogs enter the outing with a 9-6 record after their 62-54 league loss to Hayesville (Hayesville, NC).

The Cougars (3-15) will now prepare for their outing against Chattanooga Prep (Chattanooga, TN). The Sentinels enter the 1A District 5 outing with a 17-7 record. In their last outing, Chattanooga Prep routed Chattanooga School for the Liberal Arts (Chattanooga, TN), 55-29, in a league outing.
