January 27, 2025: Crystal Springs, MS 39059 The crowd at Monday's league challenge between the Crystal Springs Tigers (Crystal Springs, MS) and the visiting Jefferson Davis County Jaguars (Bassfield, MS), observed Crystal Springs's basketball team overwhelm Jefferson Davis County by a score of 51-27.
The Tigers (7-12) will now prepare for their challenge against Pisgah (Sandhill, MS). The Dragons come into the non-league challenge with a 1-23 record. In their last challenge, Pisgah was routed by Raleigh (Raleigh, MS), 50-44, in a league bout.
With the loss, Jefferson Davis County falls to 12-14 on the campaign. The Jaguars host Seminary (Seminary, MS) to play the Bulldogs in a 3A Region 6 bout on Tuesday, January 28. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 1-14. Seminary lost 65-39 in their recent league bout against Magee (Magee, MS)
