Maine High School Basketball - Penquis Valley nips Greenville
January 27, 2025: Greenville, ME 04441 The crowd at Monday's non-league challenge between the Penquis Valley Patriots (Milo, ME) and the host Greenville Lakers (Greenville, ME), observed Penquis Valley's basketball team edge Greenville by a margin of 37-33.
The Patriots (6-11) will now prepare for their challenge against Central (East Corinth, ME). The Red Devils come into the C North challenge with a 6-7 record. In their last challenge, Central was tipped by Bangor Christian (Bangor, ME), 49-41, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Lakers battle the Penobscot Valley Howlers (Howland, ME) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 28. Greenville will attempt to better on its 4-9 season record. The Howlers come into the challenge with a 4-8 record after their 59-49 non-league win over Lee Academy (Lee, ME).
