January 27, 2025: Presho, SD 57568 Gregory Gorillas (Gregory, SD) supporters left the game satisfied Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the host Lyman Raiders (Presho, SD), 72-60 in a league match.
With the victory, Gregory advances its record to 9-2 on the year. The Gorillas travel to Avon (Avon, SD) to face the Pirates in a non-league match on Thursday, January 30. The Pirates enter the match with a record of 1-10. Avon lost 85-71 in their recent non-league match against Marty Indian (Marty, SD)
The Raiders now own a 7-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Jones County for a non-league match on Tuesday, January 28. Lyman will face a Coyotes squad coming off a 60-47 league loss to Kadoka (Kadoka, SD). The Coyotes record now stands at 5-8.
