Minnesota High School Basketball - Pelican Rapids nips Hillcrest Lutheran Academy
January 27, 2025: Pelican Rapids, MN 56572 In Monday's non-league contest, the host Pelican Rapids Vikings basketball team scored a close 56-53 win over the Hillcrest Lutheran Academy Comets.
The Vikings (14-3) will now prepare for their contest against Hawley (Hawley, MN). The Nuggets come into the AA Section 8 contest with a 4-12 record. In their last contest, Hawley was tipped by Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton (Glyndon, MN), 74-60, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Comets battle the Hancock Owls (Hancock, MN) in a A Section 6 contest, on Tuesday, January 28. Hillcrest Lutheran Academy will attempt to better on its 8-6 season record. The Owls come into the contest with a 7-7 record after their 71-55 non-league loss to Minnewaska Area (Glenwood, MN).
