In Friday's non-league contest, the host Ada-Borup Cougars basketball team scored a good 71-59 triumph over the Hillcrest Lutheran Academy Comets.

The Cougars (4-2) will now prepare for their contest against Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton (Glyndon, MN). The Rebels go into the non-league contest with a 3-1 record.

In their next game, the Comets confront the Mountain Iron-Buhl Rangers (Mountain Iron, MN) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, December 28. Hillcrest Lutheran Academy will attempt to better on its 3-4 season record. The Rangers go into the contest with a 6-1 record after their 85-65 league win over Hill City (Hill City, MN).
