In Saturday's non-league contest, the visiting West Central Area Knights basketball team scored a close 60-56 triumph over the Ada-Borup Cougars.

The Knights (9-4) will now prepare for their contest against Montevideo (Montevideo, MN). The Thunderhawks go into the non-league contest with a 10-1 record.

In their next game, the Cougars battle the Lake Park-Audubon Raiders (Lake Park, MN) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, January 14. Ada-Borup will attempt to better on its 8-4 season record. The Raiders go into the contest with a 3-13 record after their 62-49 non-league loss to Polk County West [Climax/Fisher] (Climax, MN).
