January 4, 2025: Barrett, MN 56311 West Central Area Knights (Barrett, MN) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting Norman County East/Ulen-Hitterdal Titans (Twin Valley, MN), 69-53 in a league match.
With the victory, West Central Area upgrades its record to 6-4 on the year. The Knights travel to Minnewaska Area (Glenwood, MN) to face the Lakers in a non-league match on Thursday, January 9. The Lakers enter the match with a record of 7-4. Minnewaska Area won 71-60 in their recent league match against Paynesville (Paynesville, MN)
The Titans now sport a 6-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Fosston for a non-league match on Monday, January 6. Norman County East/Ulen-Hitterdal will face a Greyhounds squad coming off a 58-54 league loss to Cass Lake-Bena (Cass Lake, MN). The Greyhounds record now stands at 4-3.
