Willow Canyon Wildcats (Surprise, AZ) supporters left the game happy Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the visiting Ironwood Eagles (Glendale, AZ), 74-71 in a league match.

With the victory, Willow Canyon advances its record to 19-2 on the year. The Wildcats host Centennial (Peoria, AZ) to meet the Coyotes in a 5A Northwest Valley match on Wednesday, January 29. The Coyotes enter the match with a record of 9-12. Centennial won 94-54 in their recent league match against Lake Havasu (Lake Havasu City, AZ)
