Mardela Warriors (Mardela Springs, MD) supporters left the game satisfied Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the visiting Pocomoke Warriors (Pocomoke, MD), 62-57 in a league match.

With the victory, Mardela advances its record to 8-5 on the year. The Warriors travel to Washington (Princess Anne, MD) to face the Jaguars in a Bayside - South match on Tuesday, January 28. The Jaguars enter the match with a record of 2-8.

The Warriors now own a 5-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Decatur for a Bayside - South match on Tuesday, January 28. Pocomoke will face a Seahawks squad coming off a 68-60 non-league loss to Cardozo (Washington, DC). The Seahawks record now stands at 11-3.
