Virginia High School Basketball - Varina overwhelms Norcom
January 27, 2025: Richmond, VA 23231 The Varina Blue Devils basketball team scored 74 points and limited the visiting Norcom Greyhounds to 51 in the Blue Devils non-league triumph on Monday.
The Blue Devils now possess a 9-2 record. They play next when they host Patrick Henry for a Capital game on Tuesday, January 28. Varina will confront a Patriots team coming off a 74-21 non-league win over Charles City (Charles City, VA). The Patriots record now stands at 4-7.
With the loss, Norcom falls to 6-9 on the campaign. The Greyhounds travel to Lake Taylor (Norfolk, VA) to confront the Titans in a Eastern game on Wednesday, January 29.
