New York High School Basketball - Suffern sneaks past Spring Valley
January 27, 2025: Suffern, NY 10901 The Suffern Mounties (Suffern, NY) basketball edged the visiting Spring Valley Tigers (Spring Valley, NY), 69-67 in Monday's league bout.
The Mounties now possess a 13-1 record. They play next when they travel to North Rockland for a Section 1 Conference 1B bout on Friday, January 31. Suffern will play a Raiders team coming off a 64-55 league win over Clarkstown North (New City, NY). The Raiders record now stands at 12-3.
With the loss, Spring Valley falls to 4-4 on the campaign. The Tigers host Clarkstown North (New City, NY) to play the Rams in a Section 1 Conference 1B bout on Thursday, January 30.
