In Monday's league contest, the host Buford Wolves basketball team scored a good 66-51 triumph over the Central Gwinnett Black Knights.

The Wolves (18-2) will now prepare for their contest against Mill Creek (Hoschton, GA). The Hawks go into the AAAAAA Region 8 contest with a 13-5 record. In their last contest, Mill Creek topped Dacula (Dacula, GA), 54-53, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Black Knights confront the Collins Hill Eagles (Suwanee, GA) in a AAAAAA Region 8 contest, on Wednesday, January 29.
