The Cholla Chargers basketball squad (Tucson, AZ), was crushed 72-16 in Monday's league battle with the host Douglas Bulldogs (Douglas, AZ)

With the victory, Douglas advances its record to 19-3 on the year. The Bulldogs host Sabino (Tucson, AZ) to meet the Sabercats in a non-league battle on Thursday, January 30. The Sabercats enter the battle with a record of 15-9.

The Chargers now own a 0-15 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rio Rico for a 4A Gila battle on Wednesday, January 29. Cholla will meet a Hawks squad coming off a 61-49 league win over Sahuarita (Sahuarita, AZ). The Hawks record now stands at 11-9.
