North Carolina High School Basketball - Dudley thwarts Rockingham County
January 27, 2025: Greensboro, NC 27401 The crowd at Monday's league challenge between the Dudley Panthers (Greensboro, NC) and the visiting Rockingham County Cougars (Wentworth, NC), observed Dudley's basketball team knock off Rockingham County by a score of 48-31.
The Panthers (10-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Atkins (Winston-Salem, NC). The Camels come into the 3A Mid-State challenge with a 3-13 record. In their last challenge, Atkins dropped by Ben L. Smith (Greensboro, NC), 59-33, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Cougars encounter the Ben L. Smith Golden Eagles (Greensboro, NC) in a 3A Mid-State challenge, on Tuesday, January 28. Rockingham County will attempt to improve on its 14-2 season record. The Golden Eagles come into the challenge with a 15-2 record after their 63-13 league win over High Point Central (High Point, NC).
