Highland Prep Honey Badgers (Surprise, AZ) supporters left the game happy Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the host Odyssey Institute Minotaur (Buckeye, AZ), 48-17 in a league match.

With the victory, Highland Prep advances its record to 14-9 on the year. The Honey Badgers travel to River Valley (Mohave Valley, AZ) to meet the Dust Devils in a 3A West match on Wednesday, January 29. The Dust Devils enter the match with a record of 1-12.

The Minotaur now own a 4-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to ALA - West Foothills for a 3A West match on Wednesday, January 29. Odyssey Institute will meet a Guardians squad coming off a 89-50 league win over Parker (Parker, AZ). The Guardians record now stands at 12-7.
