The Meridian Hawks (Macon, IL) basketball knocked off the visiting Nokomis Redskins (Nokomis, IL), 58-46 in Friday's non-league test.

The Hawks (17-5) will now prepare for their test against Shelbyville (Shelbyville, IL). The Rams go into the non-league test with a 5-15 record. In their last test, Shelbyville went down by Teutopolis (Teutopolis, IL), 70-42, in a non-league test.
