Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Shelbyville Rams (Shelbyville, IL) and the host Nokomis Redskins (Nokomis, IL), saw Shelbyville's basketball squad hold off Nokomis by a tally of 54-50.

With the victory, Shelbyville improves its record to 4-9 on the campaign. The Rams host Altamont (Altamont, IL) to confront the Indians in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 4. The Indians come into the challenge with a record of 10-4. Altamont won 42-35 in their recent non-league challenge against Cobden (Cobden, IL)
