The Morrow Mustangs basketball team (Morrow, GA), was overwhelmed 66-40 in Friday's league battle with the host Westlake Lions (Atlanta, GA)

The Lions now possess a 16-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lakeside for a AAAAAA Region 4 battle on Tuesday, February 1. Westlake will battle a Vikings team coming off a 65-40 non-league win over Towers (Decatur, GA). The Vikings record now stands at 6-13.

The Mustangs (11-8) will now prepare for their battle against Mt. Zion (Jonesboro, GA). The Bulldogs come into the non-league battle with a 4-13 record. In their last battle, Mt. Zion was overwhelmed by Fayette County (Fayetteville, GA), 67-45, in a league battle.
