The St. Edward Green Wave basketball team scored 63 points and restricted the host Ridgewood Rebels to 47 in the Green Wave league victory on Friday.

The Green Wave now sport a 17-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Westminster Christian for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 1. St. Edward will battle a Warriors team coming off a 49-47 non-league win over Christian Heritage Academy (Northfield, IL). The Warriors record now stands at 6-13.

The Rebels (2-17) will now prepare for their contest against Aurora Central Catholic (Aurora, IL). The Chargers come into the Metro Suburban contest with a 4-20 record. In their last contest, Aurora Central Catholic was defeated by Bishop McNamara (Kankakee, IL), 75-26, in a league contest.
