Michigan High School Basketball - Chelsea overwhelms Pinckney
January 28, 2022: Chelsea, MI 48118 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Chelsea Bulldogs (Chelsea, MI) and the visiting Pinckney Pirates (Pinckney, MI), saw Chelsea's basketball squad wallop Pinckney by a tally of 66-36.
With the victory, Chelsea improves its record to 7-2 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Grass Lake (Grass Lake, MI) to confront the Warriors in a Cascades challenge on Saturday, January 29. The Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 6-3. Grass Lake won 67-29 in their recent league challenge against Napoleon (Napoleon, MI)
Next up, the Pirates confront the Ypsilanti Grizzlies (Ypsilanti, MI) in a Southeastern - White challenge, on Tuesday, February 1. Pinckney will attempt to improve on its 2-11 season record. The Grizzlies come into the challenge with a 5-5 record after their 35-26 league win over Jackson (Jackson, MI).
