Cypress Springs Panthers (Cypress, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Cypress Falls Eagles (Houston, TX), 45-19 in a league bout.

With the win, Cypress Springs upgrades its record to 26-5 on the season. The Panthers host Bridgeland (Cypress, TX) to play the Bears in a 6A Region II District 16 bout on Tuesday, February 1. The Bears go into the bout with a record of 15-15. Bridgeland won 47-37 in their recent league bout against Cypress Park (Cypress, TX)

Next up, the Eagles play the Cypress Lakes Spartans (Katy, TX) in a 6A Region II District 16 bout, on Tuesday, February 1. Cypress Falls will attempt to upgrade on its 15-15 season record.
