Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Valencia Vikings (Valencia, CA) and the host Golden Valley Grizzlies (Santa Clarita, CA), saw Valencia's basketball squad wallop Golden Valley by a count of 52-29.

With the victory, Valencia upgrades its record to 5-15 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to Hart (Newhall, CA) to play the Indians in a Foothill challenge on Monday, January 31. The Indians come into the challenge with a record of 17-4. Hart won 43-42 in their recent league challenge against West Ranch (Valencia, CA)

Next up, the Grizzlies play the West Ranch Wildcats (Valencia, CA) in a Foothill challenge, on Sunday, January 30. Golden Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 2-14 season record.
