In Friday's league outing, the Northwestern Trojans (Rock Hill, SC) basketball squad felled the host Ridge View Blazers (Columbia, SC), by a margin of 50-40.

The Trojans (14-5) will now prepare for their outing against Blythewood (Blythewood, SC). The Bengals go into the AAAAA Region 4 outing with a 0-15 record. In their last outing, Blythewood was beaten by Ridge View (Columbia, SC), 18-14, in a league outing.

The Blazers now own a 5-13 record. They play next when they travel to Spring Valley for a AAAAA Region 4 outing on Tuesday, February 1. Ridge View will clash with a Vikings squad coming off a 52-42 league loss to Rock Hill (Rock Hill, SC). The Vikings record now stands at 11-9.
