Louisiana High School Basketball - Simpson holds off Pleasant Hill
January 28, 2022: Simpson, LA 71446 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Simpson Broncos (Simpson, LA) and the visiting Pleasant Hill Eagles (Pleasant Hill, LA), saw Simpson's basketball squad hold off Pleasant Hill by a tally of 55-50.
With the victory, Simpson improves its record to 3-14 on the campaign. The Broncos travel to Ebarb (Noble, LA) to confront the Rebels in a C District 3 challenge on Tuesday, February 1. The Rebels come into the challenge with a record of 7-12. Ebarb lost 68-39 in their recent league challenge against Evans (Evans, LA)
Next up, the Eagles confront the Hornbeck Hornets (Hornbeck, LA) in a C District 3 challenge, on Tuesday, February 1. Pleasant Hill will attempt to improve on its 5-13 season record. The Hornets come into the challenge with a 9-7 record after their 57-26 league loss to Hicks (Leesville, LA).
