Michigan High School Basketball - Romulus crushes Redford Union

January 28, 2022: Romulus, MI 48174

Romulus Eagles (Romulus, MI) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Redford Union Panthers (Redford, MI), 65-5 in a league bout.

With the victory, Romulus upgrades its record to 9-1 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Renaissance (Detroit, MI) to play the Phoenix in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 29. The Phoenix come into the bout with a record of 8-3. Renaissance lost 62-61 in their recent non-league bout against Cass Tech (Detroit, MI)

Next up, the Panthers play the Robichaud Bulldogs (Dearborn Heights, MI) in a Western Wayne bout, on Tuesday, February 1. Redford Union will attempt to upgrade on its 1-9 season record. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a 1-8 record after their 43-13 league loss to Garden City (Garden City, MI).
