Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Canyon Cougars (New Braunfels, TX) and the visiting Seguin Matadors (Seguin, TX), saw Canyon's basketball squad knock off Seguin by a count of 63-43.

With the victory, Canyon upgrades its record to 2-6 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Tivy (Kerrville, TX) to play the Antlers in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 1. The Antlers come into the challenge with a record of 0-0.
