New York High School Basketball - St. Mary's tops Nichols
January 28, 2022: Buffalo, NY 14216 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the St. Mary's Lancers (Lancaster, NY) and the host Nichols Vikings (Buffalo, NY), saw St. Mary's's basketball squad knock off Nichols by a count of 64-50.
With the victory, St. Mary's upgrades its record to 11-2 on the campaign. The Lancers travel to Pembroke (Corfu, NY) to play the Dragons in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 29. The Dragons come into the challenge with a record of 2-1. Pembroke won 63-53 in their recent non-league challenge against Byron-Bergen (Bergen, NY)
Next up, the Vikings play the Bishop Timon-St. Jude Tigers (Buffalo, NY) in a challenge, on Thursday, February 3. Nichols will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 2-9 record after their 65-53 league loss to St. Joseph's Collegiate Institute (Buffalo, NY).
