Wisconsin High School Basketball - Algoma can't hold off Green Bay N.E.W. Lutheran
January 28, 2023: Green Bay, WI 54311 The Green Bay N.E.W. Lutheran Blazers basketball team scored 62 points and held the visiting Algoma Wolves to 59 in the Blazers league triumph on Saturday.
The Blazers now sport a 11-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Gibraltar for a Packerland contest on Friday, February 3. Green Bay N.E.W. Lutheran will battle a Vikings team coming off a 60-59 non-league win over Oneida Nation (Oneida, WI). The Vikings record now stands at 5-10.
The Wolves (6-10) will now prepare for their contest against Oconto (Oconto, WI). The Blue Devils enter the Packerland contest with a 11-6 record. In their last contest, Oconto nudged Sturgeon Bay (Sturgeon Bay, WI), 72-62, in a league contest.
