January 28, 2023: Utqiagvik, AK 99723 In Saturday's league outing, the Barrow Whalers (Utqiagvik, AK) basketball squad beat the visiting Bethel Warriors (Bethel, AK), by a margin of 77-62.
The Whalers (6-9) will now prepare for their outing against Nome-Beltz (Nome, AK). The Nanooks go into the 3A Western outing with a 12-2 record.
The Warriors now own a 8-2 record. They play next when they host Palmer for a non-league outing on Friday, February 3. Bethel will clash with a Moose squad coming off a 74-48 non-league loss to Dimond (Anchorage, AK). The Moose record now stands at 0-12.
