The Bishop McNamara Fightin' Irish routed the host Herscher Tigers basketball team by a final score of 60-27 in Saturday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Fightin' Irish face the Grant Park Dragons (Grant Park, IL) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, January 31. Bishop McNamara will attempt to move on its 19-5 season record. The Dragons enter the game with a 17-8 record after their 63-61 non-league win over Paxton-Buckley-Loda (Paxton, IL).

With the defeat, Herscher moves to 4-20 on the year. The Tigers travel to Wilmington (Wilmington, IL) to face the Wildcats in a Illinois Central 8 game on Tuesday, January 31.
