January 28, 2023: Marlton, NJ 08053 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Cherokee Chiefs (Marlton, NJ) and the visiting Egg Harbor Township Eagles (Egg Harbor Township, NJ), saw Cherokee's basketball squad hold off Egg Harbor Township by a count of 37-34.
With the victory, Cherokee upgrades its record to 12-6 on the campaign. The Chiefs host Rancocas Valley (Mt. Holly, NJ) to play the Red Devils in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 31. The Red Devils come into the challenge with a record of 9-6.
Next up, the Eagles play the St. Joseph Wildcats (Hammonton, NJ) in a Cape/Atlantic - United challenge, on Tuesday, January 31. Egg Harbor Township will attempt to upgrade on its 16-4 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 11-7 record after their 54-52 non-league win over Eastern (Voorhees, NJ).
