New Jersey High School Basketball - Cherokee tops Atlantic City
December 27, 2022: Marlton, NJ 08053 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Cherokee Chiefs (Marlton, NJ) and the visiting Atlantic City Vikings (Atlantic City, NJ), saw Cherokee's basketball squad knock off Atlantic City by a count of 45-25.
With the victory, Cherokee upgrades its record to 3-2 on the campaign. The Chiefs travel to Penns Grove (Carneys Point, NJ) to play the Red Devils in a non-league challenge on Thursday, December 29. The Red Devils come into the challenge with a record of 1-4. Penns Grove lost 58-51 in their recent non-league challenge against Gloucester City (Gloucester City, NJ)
Next up, the Vikings play the Hammonton Blue Devils (Hammonton, NJ) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 3. Atlantic City will attempt to upgrade on its 1-4 season record. The Blue Devils come into the challenge with a 3-1 record after their 70-65 non-league win over Ocean City (Ocean City, NJ).
