California High School Basketball - Crenshaw nips Westchester
January 28, 2023: Los Angeles, CA 90043 Crenshaw Cougars (Los Angeles, CA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Westchester Comets (Los Angeles, CA), 63-62 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Crenshaw upgrades its record to 22-2 on the season. The Cougars host George Washington Prep (Los Angeles, CA) to play the Generals in a Coliseum bout on Wednesday, February 1. The Generals go into the bout with a record of 12-12.
Next up, the Comets play the University Wildcats (Los Angeles, CA) in a Western bout, on Monday, January 30. Westchester will attempt to upgrade on its 18-8 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 6-18 record after their 105-63 league loss to Fairfax (Los Angeles, CA).
