Virginia High School Basketball - Green Run crushes Grassfield
January 28, 2023: Chesapeake, VA 23323 Green Run Stallions (Virginia Beach, VA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Grassfield Grizzlies (Chesapeake, VA), 69-47 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Green Run upgrades its record to 7-11 on the season. The Stallions host Princess Anne (Virginia Beach, VA) to clash with the Cavaliers in a Beach bout on Wednesday, February 1. The Cavaliers go into the bout with a record of 14-5. Princess Anne won 83-64 in their recent league bout against Kempsville (Virginia Beach, VA)
Next up, the Grizzlies clash with the King's Fork Bulldogs (Suffolk, VA) in a Southeastern bout, on Tuesday, January 31. Grassfield will attempt to upgrade on its 6-9 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 13-3 record after their 89-59 non-league win over Northeastern (Elizabeth City, NC).
