The Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta Tigers basketball team scored 55 points and held the host Hancock Owls to 50 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Tigers now sport a 11-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Melrose for a AA Section 6 contest on Tuesday, January 31. Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta will battle a Dutchmen team coming off a 65-54 non-league win over New London-Spicer (New London, MN). The Dutchmen record now stands at 10-4.

The Owls (6-6) will now prepare for their contest against Battle Lake (Battle Lake, MN). The Battlers enter the A Section 6 contest with a 12-2 record. In their last contest, Battle Lake nudged Parkers Prairie (Parkers Prairie, MN), 52-42, in a league contest.
