January 28, 2023: New Orleans, LA 70126 Livingston Collegiate Academy Wolves (New Orleans, LA) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting John Curtis Christian Patriots (River Ridge, LA), 53-51 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Livingston Collegiate Academy upgrades its record to 4-7 on the campaign. The Wolves host South Plaquemines (Buras, LA) to play the Hurricanes in a non-league bout on Wednesday, February 1. The Hurricanes come into the bout with a record of 12-11. South Plaquemines won 63-46 in their recent league bout against Jefferson RISE Charter (Harvey, LA)
Next, the Patriots encounter the Brother Martin Crusaders (New Orleans, LA) in a 5A District 9 test, on Tuesday, January 31. John Curtis Christian will attempt to advance on its 13-6 season record. The Crusaders go into the test with a 12-9 record after their 53-41 league loss to St. Augustine (New Orleans, LA).
