In Saturday's league match, the visiting Melba Mustangs basketball team scored a decisive 76-47 triumph over the North Star Huskies.

In their next game, the Mustangs meet the New Plymouth Pilgrims (New Plymouth, ID) in a 2A Western Idaho match, on Wednesday, February 1. Melba will attempt to move on its 16-0 season record. The Pilgrims enter the match with a 15-3 record after their 48-39 league win over Marsing (Marsing, ID).
